TEDxHongik
TEDxHongik’s ‘Bottom Up School’ started as a critical solution to observe Korea’s current design education scene with the event itself. It sends a message to the teacher - which is symbolized as the current education system - proposing a different two-way communication method. 8 speakers with their original patterns in fields that range to typography to DJ are invited to TEDXHongik to reveal the design education that we would like to experience.
Hongik students from the Industrial Design Department’s ‘Product Design Team i’ and design studio ‘Ordinary People’ wraps out the plan of TEDxHongik. The conference is supervised from the KSDS as an alternative to the 2010 Korean Society of Design Science Symposium.
